Valerie is a principal at Somerset and provides wealth management services. She joined Somerset in 2001 as a result of the merger with her firm Cox, Brennan & Co., LLP. Throughout her career she has worked with entrepreneurial businesses and their owners in a variety of industries. In addition to providing tax and accounting expertise, she focuses on developing financial planning strategies for clients. Prior to the creation of Cox, Brennan & Co., LLP, Valerie established her own firm and also worked with a Big Five accounting firm and in private industry.

Education

Valerie graduated from Butler University with high honors in accounting in 1988. She holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses. She is a licensed insurance agent and a Personal Financial Specialist.
