Roy is a principal in our Tax Team and our Dental Team. He is also a member of the firm's Executive Committee. At the beginning of his career, Roy was employed by Arthur Andersen & Company for six years as a tax senior. Roy then co-founded McGee, Rice & Wheat in November 1974. In September of 1999, McGee, Rice & Wheat merged with Somerset. He currently consults with privately-held companies in various industries as well as many individual clients. His services include income, estate and retirement tax planning; tax return preparation for businesses, individuals, estates and trusts; financial and investment planning and financial statement compilations and reviews. In 2004 Roy was added to the Indianapolis Medical Society’s Preferred Resources List, an honor that was bestowed upon him by a physician client. Roy was named a Five Star Wealth Manager in Taxation as published by Indianapolis Monthly in 2011 and 2009.

Education

Roy graduated from Indiana University in 1969 with a B.S. degree in accounting.
